Titleist and Socrates (Free verse) by MacFrantic

He shot a sixty-two on Sunday without a driver Because he was sure he didn't know anything About golf or any other game For that matter He marked his ball with an olive leaf All the while sporting a toga Courtesy of Reebok™ It was all over the news "Socrates defeats Tiger" A grueling test for any man and The highest ratings Any U.S Open has ever seen With all the excitement All the publicity and fanfare No one ever stopped to ask what Plato thought But then again... he's only the caddy

Fun to imagine as one reads, sees the threesome walking along, the caddy asking question after question while Tiger gets annoyed and Ari smiles at his old teacher's complete lack of golf etiquette.
