How Strange (Free verse) by T. Becquerel

I met a man once He wanted my words But didn?t say it; He yearned for them Without knowing. He made a noise, Perhaps it was his last cry, Perhaps his Typical emotional waterfall Had made him The messenger of Humanity. So I wrote my words On a piece of paper, Folded it, And began to hand it to him, But his arm Had already Been wrenched From his body.

How about how jessica Lynch hails from Palestine West Virginia? Isn't that Lynchianly appropriate? A quote from her dad "those folks that rescued my daughter were a brave bunch of people" I wonder how he's going to feel with an ethnic son or daughter in nine months. Let's take a moment to pray shall we. Dear whoever wherever could you please give me more psychic powers so that i may change my channel without getting up or looking for the remote. Thankyou, oh and could you give the rag heads some back ground music to their machine gun dance the next time a farmer shoots down an apache with a sling shot. It would help me absorb their glee a whole lot more since i've been warped by music television and the family feud. In the name of the father, the son and the holy toast (i mean spirit as in grey goose chilled without a glass). thank you lordy.
