Death From Above
~
when spirit goes wandering
to the wind
and those below
stand alone and unguarded
we few above
bring those to death below
~
committed and unheeded
they wait for death
falling from the gates
of the unblessed
like waiting for monsoon rains
that surely will come
~
and swells within the ocean
lifting waves to new heights
undefined but always present
the sky dropping the waste of shit
to fall upon those laying in wait
the hands of death . . .soon
~
committing wrongs
that cannot be undone
this crime of all crimes
intruders falling to unwanted peoples
above all the death
not a soul really gave a damn
~
let my words lie heavily upon hearts
the righteous are not innocent
of deed for the wicked
those whom have been robbed
are not blameless of being robbed
~
those who murder
are not accountable
for their own murder
we are all victims
to those that are injured
good and evil fit so well
~
and although we should be outraged
who will be the judge
to judge those that fell
be it Death From Above
or those that fell
to those from Above
~
what is the penalty
to those who slay the flesh
this silent heart of mine
entwined here within the earth
the thief of spirit
into our evil tree . . .roots are dead
~
what laws shall we fear
when we enter the path
to heavens gate
who will break open the chains
that held us
who will be in command
~
seeking freedom to become unharnessed
where days were without care
ungodly thoughts
Death From Above
falling spirits
tied to mushrooms
~
the battlefield of my mind
can someone speak to me
in reason of passion
to wage war and quench appetite
this rivalry played out in my mind
has turned to nothing but discord
~
and the flames that burn within
shall cause its own destruction
resurrection has passed
and now lies here in its own ashes
searching for peace and serenity
in distant fields and meadows
~
someday i will come to rest
in God's forest
and my heart will rest in silence
no thoughts no reminders
where pain would not seem less than joy
i cannot forget Death From Above
~
