It tells the time (a tribute to Roddy) (Free verse) by richa
On a lillypad by the pond puffing, his throat like pipes proud as a scot the toad waits for night by the howl of the fox. Curious as a man I ask: 'why the peculiar watch'. The toad replies: 'for it tells the time, and i have no wrist.'

Up the ladder: Billy Collins
Down the ladder: Compassion
