Thornwood (Splinters) (Lyric) by OneFingerAnswer
The splinters that fall Are pieces of you Coming off of me As I grow to something new By getting out Breaking the shell And learning to breathe I^m getting well I shed the skin That I once wore I worm out of you Leaving you on the floor It feels so strange To be so free Why I don^t recognize That this is me? It almost hurts To be alone But it^s better Than being your clone The pieces that fall Shatter and burst Are those which were great But now are the worst You were armor But scratched and torn And too damn heavy To be worn Ripping out of here Feels so good It doesn^t kill me Like I thought it would The splinters that fall Can lay there now Cause I^ve moved on And it^s over some how

Up the ladder: Lonely Night
Down the ladder: uh oh
