Black Heart (Free verse) by ThoughtfulSoul
I have felt the urge to kill The urge to hang myself The urge to strangle the neighborhood bully But society holds me back They tell you don't do this but at the same time contradicting themselves by showing us nothing but violence on tv, reading newspapers, and video games My urges grow and soon the main story or headline will say or read boy goes crazy and kills everyone in supermarket after being asked if he would like paper or plastic

Up the ladder: In the Light
Down the ladder: Best Present Ever

All my love to you. My son boxes his friends on the lawn, It works wonders for them. I'm not advocating violence but it seems to me boys need the outlet. So far it's always ended positively. I like your poem.
