kicked in soccer
swollen from track.
Mother worries Iâll never marry.
But I wear my dresses short
to attract the One who will say:
I love you and your knees.
May the four of us grow old together.

Yes, may it all come true. Trouble is my knees are smooth now, having given up all that rough soccer and all. Hiking and biking are still good though.

Then I will assume he means it in an adoring way, of course.
