What I Exist For (Free verse) by Dovina This moment will be a long time ago some day
a fragile treasure waiting
for some unknown assembler
to reconstruct it
from timeâs erasures
But this moment
with your hand on mine
has no precedent or portent
has never occurred before
nor could happen again
For this
I came to be
and when it ends
I will have been

As we all know I'm a sucker for decently written sappy. I love how the last verse says so much, in so few words.
