Tonight (Free verse) by jessicazee
The nice furry cat Did not understand The rules pertaining to The beautiful truth This does not Adhere to the straight Forward ideals Written out in the newspaper Of the small unimportant town Where you grew up Even though you and I Seem to have come to some sort Of understanding It does not matter In our warm tent, Silent to the neighbors Away from the street noise Close to the rest

Up the ladder: blobby blob blob
Down the ladder: Henry's breeches

Wow! I can't understand the low scores on this one. Even when your writing is a little unhinged I find you establish a feeling. Maybe it's just because I'm a nature nut.
