First, you should invent a distinctive new color and make everything on your site that color (ie, this infamous shade of blue.)
Then you should copyright your color, giving it the name of your site (ie, 'Poemranker.com Blue') so that every time people refer to it, they have to use its proper name, which will make them think of your site.
You would also do well to try to have it made a GAP seasonal color. If everyone who shops at The GAP goes around for a few months saying stupid things like, 'BlindForum Yellow is the new forest green!' you'll be bound to get more visitors.
