i like the crisp endings. (Free verse) by calliope

dead set turn-around, cancerous apology, one more scary sound, death saves an embrace for me. chest-pain circumvents the moment of least relevance. two more shallow, hurried breaths. one more word to call my last. all that she would ever ask is that i leave my head upright so she can kiss my corpse goodnight without the need to stoop again.

On a frigid dank night late last yesterday. I found a gilded net with which I did play. It had a rod iron
handle and a child proof button, and when I smelled

my jaundice bare shoulders I set out to trap as many nuts as might I could from inside out of your crap.
