Black & White (Ode) by Irischer Junge

You do not speak your mind; And no matter what it is I try, I cannot seem to find The things that are pleasing to your eye. You do not seem to care what I do, Whether it is the big or the little bitty things; It seems as if I am boring you; But I know it's not vice versa, not as my phone rings. Whenever I hear that sound, I pray that on the line it's you; My head will always spin 'round, Trying to think of what we'll do. I'll say hello with hopeful glee, To me you are the world. you are everything to me, though you are just one girl.

this poems major problem is that it is so dull.

If you could fit something interesting into the nicely constructed verses it would be OK.

vis a vis the last line, am I to believe that usually the only way you get so much 'glee' is if you have more than one girl?
