Where Time and Space End (Free verse) by Quarton

Light on a summer night, chased by a child whose hand reaches out--captures the light, opens her hand; the glowfly blinks, then flies away. On a distant planet, a being searches the evening sky, sees the point of light on its journey to a place where time and space end. Where the child has been long before the spark is seen-- holding eternity in her empty hand.
