I can't win (Free verse) by nolan

it is knowing that no matter how hard you try; you will never succeed and yet you still try why do we care so much as to the lives of others? or is the question why don't we care about them enough? every year in our educational systems set up and funded by your heros (the government) we learn about social justice, equality but they appear to just be words on paper do you actually take time to stop and think? maybe i didn't need those shoes or that shirt? and maybe my fashion statement doesn't reflect me as a person? did you ever think that your ignorance is oppression? are you happy? you're having fun right? just trying to fit in, be the cool kid you never thought you were hurting anyone just trying to have fun that is all it is about-fun, right? until you cross the lines the lines that allow you to enter REALITY you can't have fun knowing that oppression is caused not just by our beloved government, by religion or even the Taliban but oppression is cause by you and i can't win because you are me

A great monologue. Write a play about being a teenage loser, I like your character, I find him sympathetic, but he needs to find a world to live in, and he needs to take his time showing the audience his revelation. Write a play, about real teenagers.
