Sea Foam (Free verse) by groogirl

If there was a sea witch that made you love me, I’d give up my family, fortune, and voice for you. My prince, my soul, my heart, why do you turn away from me? Is it that my hand does not fit in yours? Of course, you want a dainty little porcelain hand that fits yours perfectly. Not mine- Never mine, my prince. For all I am is a jester in your court. But I wonder where your princess is? Does she even exist or is she sea foam that you realized you missed?

Are you the sea foam? Can that be merged with the jester? I don't feel the mixing of metaphors as they stand, but maybe that could be embraced more somehow?
