The Final Love (Free verse) by Roisin

I thought I had it all wrapped up Heart snapped shut The final love. Like waking from deep sleep a chest weight of dread I realise the truth That all stops now. How can we try to repair the welts of unrecordable pain When everything is fading fast? Even if we could banish this sickness for another day, Another week spent safe and coddled; It would end the same, The pouring rain, The choked chest weight My mind snaps shut- The final love.

This is a crappy poem. It is so bad I think you should post it at my new website: http://www.newpoetryshared.proboards.com !

If you have the guts to do so.
