Heirophant (Free verse) by cyan9
Perusing manuals of greek symbols,
Whilst alloys were cast into moulds,
Femeninity came forth from hot coals.
Gold trickled down charred faces
Of statues that held burning dollar bills,
Awaiting the hammers strike upon the anvil,
Reticent to the sparks that spilt forth from evil.
Striding out to set example to their cowering hearts,
The maker of living sculptures dealt out their tarot cards.
Pyrite caught in eyes like shards of broken glass,
All that the stationary beings had worked for,
All that lay there in the cards.
