Mothers love (Free verse) by kissmeufool58

Snowflakes falling from a beautiful winter sky As the newborn rubs her gentle little eye The joyous mother proudly presents her new adored treasure To everyone she now encounters Pure love so profound That she has been waiting so long to be found Watching and helping her daughter grow As tears roll down her cheek like so Many years have now passed by Will it soon be time to say goodbye? No matter how far death sets them part Shall the love and memories remain foever in their hearts

Generally I despise this type of hogwash, but this is short enough to be acceptable. If you'd rambled on for much longer in this vein I'd have given you a deserved slating, but have a 3 for not inflicting too much upon me. I don't like the poem much at all though. There's far too much of this melancholy dross being banded about.
