Fear (Lyric) by auscot

If fear is my master, is my mind then its slave? If I kill off the fear is my mind then its grave? If I live on in fear am I consumed by its lust, do I surrender my soul, is it worth less than dust? If I confront fear with valour, hold in contempt, its consumptive power of evil intent, attack it with courage, abuse it, decry, in the face of this onslaught, will it wither and die? I must find the courage, put fear in its grave, at rest in my mind, no more to enslave.

I'm surprised you didn't get more comments and votes. The only detraction I see is the grave of fear in the mind. Grave implies death of fear, but the rest of the poem talks of a fight with it and then again at the end, putting it in the grave. But fear is never completely dead. A good poem overall.
