Ruler of My World (Free verse) by nothingtoanyone

Just as the dark was getting darker and the cold was colder then ever before, I found you. Right as the end of time seemed as if it weren’t coming fast enough, and the bells of sorrow were ringing a little to loud, you with your unexpected smile walked into my world. Surround in a light not of this realm you brightened my skies and uplifted thy wilting flowers, sprinkled hope across the devastated land. You and all your glory were more then shocking to this government. Little did you know that soon after your coming your name would rule. Not only the country but also thy every thought would be rooted in your every want.
