For Kristen (Villanelle) by thepinkbunnyofdoom

Dry your whining eyes Kristen You just have to keep in mind Broken hearts do mend Forget the words of your ex-boyfriend It’s obvious that he is blind Dry your whining eyes Kristen He still plays those same ole games he has always been If you merely look I’m sure you’ll find Broken hearts do mend Crying tears for him should be a sin Don’t let yourself be swallowed by his kind Dry your whining eyes Kristen Please don’t lose your faith in men Leave him and those wasted tears behind Broken hearts do mend Don't let that fool make you forsake mankind So rewind your hate for men and let your heart touch my mind Dry your whining eyes Kristen Broken hearts do mend

Before I found this site I was just writing poems and drawing in class. I started writing as a way to express my anger(and clear my head of all my problems) and slowly found my way to move beyond just writing whenever I was pist. The first poem I ever wrote was mom and dad and that started off as Just a song I'd play when my parents pist me off. Then I got into writing Lyrics and got a band together. My friend Lindsey asked to see what I was writing one day in class and she loved what she read. She said I should try and get published but I realised that I'm not that skilled yet. So one day after a really bad break up I decided that it was time to start sharing my poems and I looked on a search engine for a site where I could submit poetry. I found this one and its free and I liked the Idea of ratings and Letting other people post comments about what you write so here I am. Other than Playing guitar, having fun being moronic and writing poems, I also Study film making, Audio production, and Do a radio shift for whss 89.5 and Thats where I first started using the pink fluffy bunny rabbit of doom as my on-air name and then because that was too long here I cut it down to thepinkbunnyofdoom. How bout you?
